crisis centers in Kearney, Broken Bow, Hastings, and Grand Island.
Crisis services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is a past
recipient of donated items.
Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska (Mid) serves 139
communities located within 27 counties in south central Nebraska and two
counties located within Kansas. Their mission is “Helping people, changing
lives, and making communities a better place to live.” Mid served 16,847
unduplicated individuals in 8,077 households in 2004.
Mid
offers a diverse number of program services to benefit those in need. Mid
Programs include: Affordable Housing, Community Services/Family Development,
Child Abuse Prevention, Commodities and Food Bank, Head Start, Health
Services, Small Business Development, Transportation, Women Infants, and
Children (WIC) Program, and Volunteer Services.
Mid will use the unsold items and clothing for "The Closet"
located in Minden. "The Closet" is a redistribution center that offers gently
used clothing, household goods, and holiday items to families in need. All
donations will be put to good use.

The Nebraska Children's Home Society is a past recipient of baby items.
Nebraska
Children’s Home Society (NCHS) is a non-profit, non-sectarian child placing
agency focused on providing safe and loving care to children of all ages
through their Adoption, Foster Care and Child Care Programs. Services
encompass all children regardless of their mental or physical ability. Since
1893, NCHS has helped over 15,000 children. Their ten offices, including an
office in Kearney, expand across the state of Nebraska.
Nebraska Children’s Home will use the unsold clothing and items for
children in their foster care program along with families that are in need of
new clothes such as clients they’ve worked with in their unplanned pregnancy
program, adoptive families and children in our child care programs.
