Whether you're new to Bumblebees & Ladybugs or are a seasoned pro, this page
is a "must-read". We encourage all participants to read this entire page; and
if you are planning on consigning please take the time to read the whole website
as there is much to learn and re-learn with consignment!
Please note: in order to be on record to consign for the Spring 2008 sale you
must sign up to sell after you have logged in. ALL consignors and volunteers, both new and returning, must register for each
and every sale! Please be sure to update your personal information so we will know where to send
your check!

Bumblebees & Ladybugs has always accepted cash & credit cards. But now
you have another option: checks! (Especially helpful for those people who never
have any cash in their purse...like Paula!)

As the sale continues to grow, our need for volunteers to help handle check-ins,
check-outs, & tear-down also grows. If you have never volunteered before,
why not make this sale your first experience? We really need YOU! Our volunteers
are a lot of fun to work with AND you will get to shop early during the volunteer
presale. Bumblebees & Ladybugs offers great incentives for volunteers – and
a wide variety of times for moms to participate! You can choose to consign and
volunteer, or you can volunteer without bringing in a single item to sell (which
is a favorite option for grandmas & aunts).
Volunteers shop before the public or even consignors! A small investment of your time gets you in to shop early during the volunteer
presale. Are you a really competitive shopper? Volunteer two shifts or one extended six hour shift and earn the coveted Early
Bird shopping pass. You will get first dibs on the widest selection! Plus, consignors
who sign-up for two volunteering shifts will earn 5% more of their sales.

Bumblebees & Ladybugs will be holding one event this spring. Kearney's event
will be held once again at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.

Congrats to Chris & Paula Sandberg with the birth of their newest addition,
Amie Josephine on February 5th. Special thanks to Dr. Kaspar-Cope, the doctors
at Contemporary Obstetrics, and the wonderful nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Amie was welcomed home with lots of hugs and kisses from Isaiah (10), Abigail
(9), Ian (7), Elianna (6), Eva (5), and Alaina (3).

I wanted to let my “bumblebug” family know that Bumblebees & Ladybugs is
up for sale. I have so enjoyed starting and growing Bumblebees & Ladybugs
but it is now time for me to pass it along to another mom! I was pregnant for
the first two sales and have come full circle… pregnant with number 7! It is
time for me to do and go new places with my family. I am hoping you will help
me spread the word concerning what I think is a fabulous business opportunity
to a fellow stay at home mom (or moms).

Double the sales, less driving!

With Grand Island's sale first this season, we are offering a unique opportunity
to our consignors. We will transport consignor's unsold items from the GI sale
to the Kearney sale! We will extend this service to the first 20 people to email
me with their request. Consignors using this service MUST tag their items with
colored cards! All other conditions & fees apply. So if you are a Grand
Island consignor you have an easy opportunity to have your items displayed at
our larger Kearney sale!
Volunteering shifts have changed

In an effort to keep efficiency high, volunteering shifts have been extended
to 4 hours. Although this is well below the 5-8 hours that many consignment sales
require, we realize that it will be a big jump. We needed to streamline the day
and keep volunteer turnover lower so we could focus on what we do best--sell the
BEST in chidlren's items! So go to our volunteering page to see what shifts are available & I truly look forward to working with
you soon. Our volunteers are so much fun to work with!
B&L is a great place to sell tween/teen clothing!

Bumblebees & Ladybugs is not just for babies! We're a great spot to sell
those clothes for the 8-14 year old crowd. Plus, your tween or teen can consign
their own unused items, clean out those closets, & buy items from our sale
at a fraction of retail! Print off advertising flyer #2 now to motivate your tween/teen (& her friends) to clean out & cash
in!

& Joel Barrere on the arrival of their little Mia Joy on January 19th. Congrats!

New pick-up procedure
January 2007
Every sale gets better! Starting with the Spring 2007 sales, we will start a
new pick-up procedure. This will help insure an organized and thorough pick-up
of your items. So please allow 5-10 minutes. Pick-up is from 5:00 pm - 5:30
pm. Consignors may not pull their own items early.
You still have the option of donating your unsold items - then you can skip the
pick-up altogether! Donating your items benefits great local charities too!

Double the sales. Double the fun. Bumblebees & Ladybugs will hold events
in Kearney and Grand Island this Fall! This exciting new sale will be held October 27th &
28th at the Howard Johnson Riverside Inn & Conference Center. Consignor registration
for this GI event is now open!
Back by popular demand: We're at 70%!
July 2006
Starting at the Fall 2006 sale we are offering a standard 70% to all consignors...
up from 60%! Please note that the consignor registration fee will also be reinstated.
This is a $7 administrative fee that will be deducted from all checks.

For your convenience we now have an online system that allows you to sign-up
to consign & volunteer. Use your username and password to login and see what
shifts you are signed up to volunteer and the total amount of sales you have earned
from past sales!
